elders & staff

We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great co-workers and energy; always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

    ELDER/Teaching Pastor

Rodney came to CFBC in October of 1991 after having served at a church plant in he and his wife's home town since 1976. His biblical teaching and passion for the Word has helped our ministry grow into the biblically based community of believers that we are today.  He and Celeste have been married since 1973 and have seven married children.  God has blessed them with 20 grandchildren.

Shane grew up at CFBC and has seen the Lord's blessings up our church and school for these many years. Being an alumni of CFCA and a teacher for several years, Shane has a vital part of our educational ministry.  He coordinates our missionaries that we support and reports weekly to our church family current needs and prayer requests.  He and Abbey have five children and own and operate Gottwals Books and Walls of Books.

Josh came to CFBC in 1991 as a junior in high school.  After graduation from college with a double major in Business and Youth Ministries, he returned home to begin his career at Central Fellowship Christian Academy.  After teaching for many years, serving as Campus Pastor and assistant in Administration, he is the current Administrator/Headmaster of the Academy.  He and Kelly have three children.

Pastoral Counseling

Our goals in Pastoral Counseling are to guide and help individuals discover Christ-centered answers to a wide range of personal, relational, financial or other challenges. We have trained counselors and pastors who facilitate a free service for individuals seeking guidance for a variety of issues including marital and family relationships, communication and intimacy, parenting, grief and loss, anger and bitterness, inner personal struggles, and spiritual discouragement. Our volunteers receive extensive training, ongoing supervision, and continuing education.

If you are someone who could benefit from counseling, you're not alone! We have hundreds from our congregation who have (and still) meet with our counselors monthly and weekly. If you would like to schedule an appointment or just have some questions answered, please reach out.
