Our Mission:

The mission of our church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through the faithful ministry of His Word. We believe that God has ordained the local church as the primary means by which His people are gathered, nurtured, equipped, and sent into the world.

This mission is seen throughout Scripture. In Deuteronomy 6, God's people are commanded to diligently teach His Word to their children, passing the faith from one generation to the next. In 2 Corinthians 5, believers are described as ambassadors for Christ, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation and called to proclaim the gospel to a lost and dying world. As a church, we seek to embrace both responsibilities—faithfully discipling those within the covenant community and faithfully proclaiming Christ to those outside of it.

Through the preaching of Scripture, prayer, fellowship, the ordinances, discipleship, and evangelism, we seek to see Christ exalted, His church strengthened, and future generations taught to know, love, and serve the Lord. Our desire is that God would be glorified as His kingdom advances through the faithful witness of His people.

The Tradition Family

Tradition's story is as unique as each of our own. The beautiful thing about Tradition's story is that God's grace and love are so deeply woven into the fibers of who we are that any success or prosperity we've experienced is a direct result of God's favor. We believe that all things exist and are being worked according to the triune God’s passion, pleasure and plan (Ephesians 1:11), which is the demonstration of His own intrinsic glory. And that God creates, calls, rescues, redeems, saves, restores, restrains and grants all to the end that He might be praised.
